Four examples of Weiser's stone sculptures depicting Native American images. The top two pieces are ceremonial pipes, the bowls carved of Minnesota pipestone. Red pipestone (catlinite) from near Pipestone, MN was dug and used by the tribes of the Great Plains for many centuries to make their sacred ceremonial pipes whose smoke carries prayers to the Creator.
